Après avoir convoqué 25 joueurs le 4 mai dernier, le sélectionneur algérien Rabah Saâdane n’a eu besoin d’écarter qu’un joueur pour transmettre à la Fifa son groupe de 23 joueurs retenu pour disputer la Coupe du monde, Mourad Meghni ayant dû renoncer après une blessure au genou. Le portier du Mouloudia d’Alger, Lamine Zemmamouche, ne voyagera pas en Afrique du Sud.
